Simon
Wayman is a practising
hypnotherapist, specialising in hypnoanalysis.
He is a
registered supervisor with the Association for Professional
Hypnosis & Psychotherapy (APHP). (See ‘The Therapist’ page).
As a supervisor he is here to listen to any of your challenges with any part of
your practice and to suggest and advise possible ways to approach and overcome
these. Also to help you reach your true potential.
For newly qualified hypnotherapists, he is an enthusiastic teacher to help you to improve and expand your knowledge and practice.

Hypnoanalysis for Therapists
Everyone has problems and challenges in their normal daily life. This is made worse if you are working and helping clients with their problems too. After years of work it can be impossible not to be affected by this. If this happens and you find your efficiency going down, becoming over-tired or losing motivation, then you may need to unburden yourself.

Training Analysis
Any therapist who has to listen to his
or her clients’ problems and traumas will inevitably encounter many events which trigger and stir up
their own buried traumas. This can in time weigh heavily on the therapist, causing many problems including burnout.
The Training Analysis is considered by many professionals to be a necessary therapy for newly qualified hypnotherapists as they begin their practice. It involves an in-depth looking back at their emotional blocks, issues and patterns, with special emphasis on the childhood
aspects.
